Toby Martin to train Firecrackers

Former College coach and professional player will also lead 7th-grade team

The Maine Firecrackers announced today that, in addition to coaching their 7th-grade team, Toby Martin will work with members of the Firecracker program on basketball skills, strength, agility, and conditioning. She will also be running the 2017-18 Winter Skills & Drills program starting November 19, 6:30-8:00 PM at Falmouth Middle School. To schedule individual training, Toby can be reached at toby@prime360training.com.

Coach Martin has a vast amount of coaching and training at USM and Bowdoin. Prior to coaching, she played at Maranacook High School and led her Franklin Pierce team to the NCAA Division II national championship game, before playing three years of professional basketball in Europe.

“Don and I are thrilled to have someone with the experience, positive energy, and passion for the game as Toby Martin. In addition to being an outstanding trainer and coach, she is a wonderful role model for the girls in our program. Our players will benefit from her involvement and she will make our program better” said Firecrackers co-founder Brian Clement.
