Southern Maine location provides housing to the families of critically ill children

Members of the 14u Firecrackers recently prepared and served dinner to several families at the Portland Ronald McDonald House, one of several community service projects performed during the 2014-15 academic year.

The Ronald McDonald House of Portland provides an affordable “home away from home” for the families of children receiving medical care in the Portland area, through generous support of the community, staffed by trained and caring employees and volunteers.
