15U and 16U ready to tip at Summer Basketball Playoff

Firecrackers open play at final ASGR event, Tuesday in NC

The 15U and 16U Maine Firecrackers are set to compete in their final tournament of the summer, as the ASGR Summer Basketball Playoff gets underway tomorrow.

The 2nd annual Summer Basketball Playoff, in Charlotte, NC runs from July 26-29, 2016, and is hosted at Carolina Courts. The Summer Basketball Playoff will bring together many of the nation’s elite prep athletes, and provides college coaches with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters.

15U is scheduled to face Mac Irvin Fire, one of the top AAU programs in the country, from Chicago, on Tuesday morning. Tip time is set for 11:15 AM.

16U will meet the Triangle Tarheels (NC) at 1:25 PM tomorrow, in their only game of the day. The remainder of both team’s schedules will depend on wins and losses.
