Firecracker, Lux named NE-10 Player of the Week
Bentley sophomore was 10-of-15 from the field in win over Stonehill
Following a rare 20-20 game, Bentley University junior center Victoria Lux has been named the Women’s Basketball Player of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.
In an 84-73 win over Stonehill in the Falcons’ only game of the week, Lux erupted for 24 points and 21 rebounds, both career-bests. She was 10-of-15 overall and also had two blocks and an assist.
Three games into the season for the undefeated Falcons, Lux is averaging 11.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and two assists while shooting .538 from the floor.
Last season, Lux averaged 6.5 points and 6.9 rebounds while helping Bentley capture NE10 Northeast Division regular season title and reach the first round of the NCAA Division II East Regional.
