Firecrackers Attend Duke vs BC game

  

Four young Firecracker players got the chance to pictured with Dukes All-America candidate, Chelseas Gray. The Duke guard had a triple-double in Duke’s convincing win over Boston College.

 

In what is becoming an annual tradition, over 30 young Firecrackers made the journey to Boston to attend the Duke/BC game on Sunday, January 06th. Duke jumped out to 55-20 first half lead behind tenacious defense and a tremendous shooting display (78% in the half). They controlled the second half and ran out easy winners, 90-53.

After the game, the Firecrackers had the opportunity to listen to a talk from the Duke coaches. This was highlighted by a some motivating  words from Brunswick native, and head coach Joanne P. McCallie. The team also met star Duke players Haley Peters, Trish Liston, and ACC player of the week Chelsea Gray
