Firecrackers Continue to Shine This Summer
Firecracker Brie Wager, one of many Firecrackers who enjoyed success at summer camps around the state.
Young firecrackers have been making a great impression at camps all over Maine and beyond this summer and the awards continue to pile up. At Capital City Camp earlier in the summer Faith Blethen was named to the All Star team. In the younger division Bodhi Littlefield and Glory Blethen shared the Most Outstanding Player award.
At Gold Rush team camp Faith helped her team to a Midnight Madness win and she was also recognized for her strong play by being chosen an All Star. Weslee Littlefield was also moved up to the high school division and named an All Star.
At Bowdoin Camp last week Coach Adrienne Shibles reported that the majority of the best players at camp were Firecrackers. Brie Wager needed a small wheelbarrow to cart her awards off as she was named Outstanding Camper, One on One Champ, Foul Shooting Champ and was part of the 3 on 3 Championship team in the high school division. In the middle school division Brooke Obar was named Outstanding Camper while Camille Clement was awarded Best Offensive Player and was part of the 3 on 3 Championship team.
Congratulations to these and all the other members of the Firecracker family that have been representing us so well.
