Martin re-joins the program on the heels of a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Bowdoin College. During her time in Brunswick, the Polar Bears finished with a record of 68-17 and made three consecutive trips to the NCAA Division III tournament.

A three-time Kennebec Valley Conference Player of the Year and three-time All-State selection at Maranacook, Martin played Division II basketball at Franklin Pierce University where she helped lead the Ravens to the 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Championship and a pair of NCAA Regional titles. In 2009, she was named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team as Franklin Pierce advanced to the national championship game.

After graduation, Martin played professionally in Germany for three years for the Qtsu Dragons, twice leading the league in scoring. Prior to Bowdoin she spent two years as an assistant coach at the University of Southern Maine, where she served under head coach Gary Fifield. During her time with the Huskies, she helped lead the team to a pair of 20-win seasons, including an NCAA Tournament berth in 2013.

Toby now owns her own basketball skills and drills business and works with Prime360 training athletes to enhance sports specific performance goals.
