Firecracker, McCrum settles in as White Mules roll

Katie McCrum (Saco) is averaging 15.6 minutes per game as a freshman at Colby College, as the White Mules are off to a 6-1 start.

McCrum had a season-high 13 points, on 6-of-7 shooting, in a Colby win over Thomas on November 24. She had 4 assists and 2 rebounds in the same game.

Through 7 games, McCrum is averaging 3.3 points and 1.6 assists per game. She is currently ranked 4th in the NESCAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.8.

Colby will meet Bowdoin College, in Brunswick, on Saturday, December 12. McCrum’s Firecracker teammate, Hannah Graham, is a freshman at Bowdoin. Game time is 2 PM.
