Firecrackers, Smith and Butler meet in Ivy League game

Dartmouth rallies in the second half to best Brown, 63-50

The Dartmouth women’s basketball team moved to 4-4 in the Ivy League by beating Brown on the road, 63-50, on Saturday. Firecrackers Olivia Smith (So, Darmouth) and Mary Butler (Fr, Brown) both played important roles.

Smith turned in one of her best performances of the season for the Big Green, scoring 11 points and grabbing six rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench. She made 4-of-8 field goal attempts and shot 3-4 from the free throw line.

Butler, a starter at Brown, had two points and six rebounds in 25 minutes of action for the Bears.
