Clement drains 6 threes as Marist beats Niagara, 82-68
Firecracker recorded new career-high, 18 points, shooting 6-of-7 from long range
NIAGARA, NY – The Marist women’s basketball team got back on track and defeated the Niagara Purple Eagles, 82-68, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup Friday evening at the Gallagher Center. With the win the Red Foxes move to 13-12 overall and 12-3 in conference. Niagara falls to 6-18 overall and 4-11 in the MAAC.
Tori Jarocz led the Red Foxes season high scoring output, tallying her 19th double-double of the season, scoring 24 points and grabbing 15 rebounds to go along with three blocks. Allie Clement, making her first start of the season off the bench, recorded a new career high in points, scoring 18 on 6-for-7 shooting from behind the arc.
