Firecrackers win an uptempo tournament final against EVOlution, 40-35

Congratulations to the fifth-grade Maine Firecrackers who captured the championship at the Best of New England tournament in Derry, NH, on Sunday. After advancing through pool play without a loss, the Firecrackers met EVOlution (MA) in the championship game. The Firecrackers led by double digits at halftime, and had to fend off a big EVOlution comeback to hold on for a 40-35 win.
