Ashley Storey Named 2015 Miss Maine Basketball
MISS MAINE BASKETBALL: Ashley Storey, Greely High School
Whether it was dribbling, shooting, passing, defending or blocking shots, Ashley Storey showed exceptional skill in every facet of the game, and made history at Greely High School.
A four-time Western Maine Conference all-star, she led the league in scoring and rebounding, ranked in the top 10 in assists and steals and was a finalist for the Bob Butler Award. The 6-3 center averaged 20.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while becoming the first Greely girls player to cross the 1,000 career-point threshold. Ashley was the most outstanding player in the Western Class B tournament and led the Rangers to the Gold Ball.
The daughter of Amy and Dale Storey, Ashley will enroll and play basketball at the University of New Hampshire.
Congratulations to Ashley for a stellar four years.
