Fourth-graders win Northern New England Championships

Firecrackers pull out overtime victory to remain undefeated in Zero Gravity event

Congratulations to the fourth-grade Maine Firecrackers who won the Northern New England Championships on Sunday afternoon at the University of Southern Maine. In the tournament final, the Firecrackers beat the buzzer to force overtime against Blue Wave and pulled out a 23-21 win in the extra period. The fourth-graders earn a berth in the championship game by finishing 3-0 in pool play.
